Statistical indices for Freiburg i. Br. High-aged index (categorisation)

Description

The high-aged index shows areas with many older people and is mapped with the following indicators: Greying index, proportion of the elderly to the boys, natural balance, proportion of single-person households 75 years and older, rate of benefit recipients SGB XII (help for care). The high-aged index is expected to be strongly influenced by the presence of senior housing and nursing homes. Result of factor analysis: Quantiles of the estimated coefficients for factor scores by means of regression analysis (factor calculation based on 3-year mean)
