Persons with work, benefit or pension; origin grouping; 1999-2008
Description
This table provides information about all persons on the last Friday
in September they lived in the Netherlands. The table shows numbers and percentages
individuals with a certain source of income. It concerns:
— persons employed as an employee
— self-employed persons;
— persons benefiting from benefits;
— persons retired.
Percentages are only displayed at an absolute number of 50 or
more people. Of the people, only jobs and benefits are in
The Netherlands counted.
The data can be broken down into the following characteristics: gender,
age, origin grouping, periods.
In 2006 there is a new registration of data on jobs and benefits
the so-called police administration. In this table, from 2006 onwards
data derived from this new registration. This can be done between 2005 and 2006
lead to trend breaks. There is a greater chance of this if there is a smaller group.

For this table a small part of the information was missing in 2006 and 2007
about pensions. This makes the correct figures for certain categories
not known in the table. These figures are therefore displayed as unknown.
In 2007 and 2008 the quality of information on other benefits was
dubious. For this reason, some categories in this table are not
displayed. For other categories with information on other benefits
it cannot be ruled out that the figure is less accurate.
