Industrial waste; processing method, industry sector (SBI 2008)
Description
This table provides information on the amount of waste released from the mining, industrial, energy, water and waste management sectors. The waste is broken down by industry by method of treatment. Industrial waste is classified according to types of waste. The types of waste are classified according to Eural codes aligned with the European Waste Statistics Regulation. The Eural codes are codes for waste as listed in the European Waste List.
This table further distinguishes between chemical and non-chemical waste. The non-chemical waste is further broken down. The commercial waste released shall be recovered or presented for final processing.

Status of the figures:
All figures are final until 2020 and the 2021 figures are provisional.
Amendments as of 26 October 2022:
The preliminary figures for 2020 have been replaced by definitive figures and provisional figures for 2021 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
Final figures for 2021 are expected by the end of April 2023.
