Cultural History Map (CHK2) — History of waterways system
Description
The dataset contains the history of the waterway system in the province of Fryslân. The course of the waterways is shown, both the current course, as well as cuts and partial damping of the former course. The file also contains, among other things, information on: the year of construction of the fairway, the function throughout the centuries of the fairway, the reason why the waterway or waterway was built at the time, the current use of the waterway, the springs used and any other details regarding the history of the waterway.
