Agglomeration zones - Geographical boundaries - MEL
Description
This data refers to agglomeration zones within the meaning of the Highway Code, in order to quickly identify the authority with police power.
### Collection context:
Following the transfer of the departmental roads on 01/01/2017 The President inherited the police power on the roads outside urban areas it was therefore necessary to create this data to allow the identification of the authority holding the police power on the section of track concerned.
### Collection method:
Two methods of updating are used today:
municipal by-laws defining the boundaries of agglomerations (within the meaning of the Highway Code)
the ground readings of the positions of the inlet (EB10) and outlet (EB20) panels of agglomeration.
