Deceased; Wlz use, personal characteristics
Description
This table contains data on the number of deaths among the population of the Netherlands per week.
The data can be broken down by personal characteristics: age and gender and according to Wlz use, sector of care-gravity package and form of care delivery.
The week numbering used follows the standard NEN2772 (ISO 8601), where the week starts on Monday and the first week in the year is that week that has four or more days in that year. As a result, a few days of the first week may fall in the previous calendar year, and/or a few days of the last week in the following calendar year. As a result, the weekly figures do not add up to the annual figures also presented in this table.

Status of figures:
The figures for the years 2015 to 2021 are final. Because the method differs from the method used for the figures on CBS StatLine, there may be small differences. These differences are caused by a different handling of fulfilled data. This can also result in small differences with previously published customization.
Figures for 2022 to 2024 are provisional. These figures can change with each renewal of the publication by counting later received obituaries, and by including fulfilled information about Wlz use. Because this method differs from the method used for mortality figures on CBS StatLine, there may be small differences.
Changes as of 28 June 2024:
Provisional figures for weeks 23 and 24 of 2024 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
Up to and including 3 May, provisional figures for the week preceding the current week number minus one were included in this publication once a week. After 3 May 2024, the frequency of publication has increased to once every two weeks. From then on, the provisional figures of the two weeks before the current week number minus one will be included in this publication.
