Working conditions of workers; industries (SBI2008) 2011-2013
Description
This table contains data on working conditions of the Dutch worker, by sectors (SBI 2008). The table presents figures on physical and psychosocial working conditions, victimisation at work, accidents at work, burnout complaints, job satisfaction and long-term desire and ability to work.
The data in this table are based on the National Working Conditions Survey (NEA).
The NEA is carried out by TNO and CBS with the support of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
The aim of the NEA is to ‘monitor’ working conditions in a broad sense under a large and representative sample of workers.
Data available from:
2011 to 2013.
Status of the figures:
Figures in this table are final.
Amendments as of 24 September 2015
None, this table has been discontinued. The reason for this is that due to design changes, figures are no longer comparable over time.

The figures for 2013 have been added.
Amendments as of 7 May 2013
The figures for accidents at work have been adjusted. Figures according to the new definition are available from 2005. The new figures are better in line with the European figures on accidents at work and with TNO’s occupational accidents figures.
According to the new definition, accidents without default, with at least 0 days of absenteeism (default less than one day also counts), with at least one day of absenteeism (in accordance with the TNO figures) and at least 4 days of absenteeism (in accordance with the European figures) are distinguished. In addition, for the total share of workers who have an accident at work, the type of injury is distinguished. Type of injury now consists of the three categories “only bodily injury”, “only mental injury” and “both”. These three categories add up to the total share of workers who have an accident at work. Accidents during commuting are not included in accidents at work.
Amendment as of 18 July 2012:
The figures in this table on working conditions, victimisation at work and burnout, broken down by industries, 1st digit (SBI2008) have been corrected. The figures for agriculture, forestry and fisheries have been added.
When will there be new figures?
No longer applicable, the current table has been discontinued. This table is cut into a number of smaller tables and is followed by:
