Description
Version of Robuust water system — Beekdalen adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 3 October 2018. The province of Drenthe aims for robust stream valleys by 2030. Robust stream valleys are resistant to a greater amount of precipitation water, which, due to the climatic changes, accumulates in the stream valleys. In this case, the drain is not passed on to another area or shifted to the future. With a lot of precipitation, there is a chance of water on the ground level. Existing functions need to adapt to these impacts of climate change. The task and urgency in the brook valleys is different and therefore there is room for tailor-made solutions. In an area-oriented approach, much attention is paid in the preliminary process to involving landowners and other stakeholders.Comes for in Vision map, map core quality landscape and map robust and climate-proof water system.
