LGRB-BW IGHK50: Risk of karstisation
Description
The hazard indication areas “dangerous karst” were derived from basic data of the Isong project (information system near-surface geothermal energy) and represent areas where karstification can occur. Here, it is distinguished which rocks (sulfate and/or carbonate rocks) may have possible karst phenomena. The geological 3-D model is not yet available nationwide. In the unprocessed areas, a rough distinction is also made according to the probability of karstisation (possible/unlikely).
