REDIAM. WMS Map of Aquifer Vulnerability to Pollution, 2005
Description
WMS Service corresponding to the Map of Vulnerability of Aquifers against Pollution at a scale of 1:400,000 prepared by the Ministry of the Environment in 2005. The starting document to generate this map has been the Hydrogeological Atlas of Andalusia, 1998. Hydrogeological units have been linked to the results of the realization of a mathematical model at regional scale (DRASTIC) on vulnerability of aquifers to pollution. The DRASTIC model includes seven factors used to give values related to the vulnerability of an aquifer to pollution: D - Depth of water level, R - Net recharge, A Nature of aquifer, S - Soil type, T - Topography, Pending, I - Impact of unsaturated zone and C Permeability. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
