2nd phase county plan for Uusimaa
Description
The 2nd phase county plan for Uusimaa renews, supplements and revises the current regional plans for Uusimaa and Itä-Uusimaa. We will define the direction of growth of the region long into the future.
This is the first regional plan to cover a large area of 26 municipalities that merged at the beginning of 2011.
The most important solutions of the phase formula are:
—functioning and sustainable community structure
—transport system supporting the structure
—sales service network
—regional Village Network.
The Ministry of the Environment adopted the 2nd phase provincial plan on 30 October 2014. The area of urban activities in Tuusula Rykmentinpuisto, the conversion of the Kivinokka recreation area into an area of urban activities and the area of urban activities allocated to the nationally significant area of the cultural environment of Lapinjärvi were not confirmed.
The entries in the 2nd phase county plan for Uusimaa have been repealed in their entirety with the provincial plans adopted later. See the up-to-date planning situation on the Uusimaa Regional Council’s website.
