Booms, shut-off devices and bollards
Description
The booms are, if necessary, safety and protective structures that can be raised to prevent unauthorised traffic.
Bollards are structures whose purpose is to act as, for example, driving barriers and space dividers.
Locking devices include a locking fence, a locking boom, a locking column and a locking cone. Closing devices are used to close a road or road section, or to direct traffic to the desired route.
The Road Wizard manages the structural and functional characteristics of state-owned booms, locking devices and bollards, as well as the related condition, procedure and administrative data.
The information is constantly updated in Tiewizard. Information is generated on road maintenance contracts, investment projects and other separate inventories commissioned mainly by the ELY Centres.
