Description
Geomorphological cartography identifies natural processes and the interferences they produce on the ground. Carried out on the official cartographic base at scale 1:25.000, maintains as reference entity Sheet 25,000. Three main cartographic entities are distinguished; Substratum lithologyDeposits or surface formations, classified according to their lithological description, age and morphogenesis of materialsForms; they are characterised by their geometry, age and genesis; several forms may be associated with a deposit.The genetic criterion for the classification of both forms and surface deposits is as follows:GravitationalGravitational and surface runoff elements and formsGlaciar and periglaciarEólicoLacustre and endorreicoLitoral Marine Chemical meteorisationOther forms; given the frequent coincidence between deposits and shapes, the relationship between each type of deposit and the surface form is collected.The printed sheets (scale1:25.000) include geomorphological cuts, regional morphostructural scheme, morphogenetic unit scheme, slope map and orographic diagram block.
