Scenarios for the population development of Switzerland and the cantons 2020-2050
Description
The scenarios for the population development of Switzerland and the cantons 2020-2050 presented in this publication are the eighth complete series of scenarios of the Federal Statistical Office. The population development scenarios are complemented by forecasts on the labour force and the population by educational level. The results of the population scenarios of the cantons will be published for the first time at the same time as the whole Swiss scenarios.
