Description
In 2017, 76 % of the population met the recommendations for healthy exercise. The share has increased by almost 14 percentage points since 2002. The same applies to sports activity: Almost two-thirds of the Swiss resident population currently play sports at least once a week, while just over a quarter never engage in sports. On the other hand, the health survey shows that in Switzerland, on average, almost six hours a day is served. People who sit particularly long interrupt extended periods of sitting less often than other people.
