Refurbishment of rescheduling budget

Description

As part of the implementation of the revised Water Protection Act (GSchG) and the Water Protection Ordinance GSchV, strategic planning for the rehabilitation of its flow waters was carried out in the canton of Bern. This refurbishment planning of the sliding budget was planned at a relatively high altitude. For a total of around 600 km of flowing waters, divided into 14 contiguous water systems and 44 target waters, the average annual displacement freight in actual and reference state (state without installations) was estimated and compared with the cargo needed to meet the requirements of animals, plants on their habitats. From this, the degree of impairment of the slide guidance was determined. The combined assessment of the impediment of shifting with ecomorphology or the benefits for nature and landscape in relation to the projected effort determined the need for action and benefits of a rehabilitation in the target waters.
