An assessment of the compatibility of plans, programmes and investment proposals falling within the scope of the Environmental Protection Act is carried out through the environmental assessment procedure or the environmental impact assessment procedure, in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act and in compliance with the specific provisions of the Environmental Protection Act.
