Description
The table shows the evolution of the price of labour. This concerns the evolution of employee labour costs per hour worked, adjusted for changes in employee structure. The labour price index divides the total increase in labour costs per hour worked into a price component and a structural effect.
Data available from 2001 to 2017.
Status of the figures:
The data from 2001 to 2014 are final. Data for 2015, 2016 and 2017 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, this data is no longer definitive.

The Central Bureau of Statistics has recently carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods are used. This table with data for revision has been replaced by table Price of labour; 2015=100; national accounts. For additional information see paragraph 3.
