The model was created in 2010 (AutoCAD module DGM). Includes the 3D height line model over the planned area for the architectural city model. The contours are created from the laser scanning points 10 m grid in the automatic generation process without considering the breaking edges (flying in 2006 by the state of NRW). The contours are 3-dimensional and have a height spacing 0.5 m. They are well labeled. The 5 m steps are set off in the red color.
The area was demarcated by the tiles for the analog 3D city model. This includes the inner district of Aachen. In addition, the areas are divided into the individual tiles B-K; 2-7. The contours are cut to the tiles and are placed in the right planes, i.e. named after the quadrants.
In the area of the tiles, the following values for heights were obtained:
Min: 145 m, Max: 264 m
Coordinate reference system: ETRS89/UTM
