Mediators

Description

The Ministry of Justice keeps a register of mediators. Legal basis: Promulgated. SG No 110 of 17 December 2004, amended SG No 86 of 24 October 2006, amended. SG No 9 of 28 January 2011, amended SG No 27 of 1 April 2011 Article 8a. (New, SG No 86/2007) (1) The Minister for Justice shall establish and maintain a Unified Register of Mediators. (2) The following shall be entered in the Unified Register of Mediators: name, identity number (personal number of a foreigner), citizenship, education, profession, additional specialisation in mediation, the organisation in which the person is trained, knowledge of foreign languages, address and contact telephone number and mediator’s number; deletion and derecognition of the mediator; the organisation in which the mediator is trained; changes in the circumstances referred to in Article 8(1)(1), (3) and (4). (3) The unified register of mediators shall be public. (4) A person entered in the Unified Register of Mediators shall declare in writing to the Minister of Justice for changes in the circumstances, which are subject to registration, within 14 days of their occurrence. (5) When any of the requirements of Art. 8, para. 1, item 1, 3 and 4 is removed, the Minister of Justice shall issue an order removing the mediator from the Unified Register of Mediators. The order may be appealed to the Supreme Administrative Court in accordance with the Code of Administrative Procedure. (6) The procedure for registration, derecognition and deletion in the Unified Register of Mediators shall be determined by the ordinance under Art. 8, para. 4. (7) The information under para. 2, item 1 about the personal number (personal number of a foreigner) shall be provided under the terms and procedure of the Personal Data Protection Act.
