Description
The data in this table are based on the Survey
labour force (EBB). The EBB is an investigation carried out by the
CBS is carried out to collect information about the relationship
between people and the labour market. Here are the characteristics of
persons associated with their current or future
position in the labour market.
This table is a new version of the Statline publication
Professional Bev.; level of education/direction. Reason for
this innovation was the new Standard Classification
2006 (SOI 2006). In the previous editions of the SOI it was
possible to use the EBB to provide four courses of training
distinguished. With the 2006 SOI, there are ten. In this new
publication can allow visitors to Statline – in contrast
until earlier – now also one or more of these training courses
select.

Corrected by: 25 November 2008
Reason for correction:
Due to a new weighting method of the EBB, all EBB tables are
stopped and moved to the archive. Instead, they become
created new tables. In these new tables, the figures are
a new weighing method corrected until 2001. From 2001 onwards
is it also possible for a limited set of
variables to publish quarterly figures. The years for 2001
have not been corrected and relate to the previously published
figures. A detailed description of the new weighing method
the EBB can be found on the theme page.
Amendments 31 March 2008 compared to previous version.
The reason for this change is that this StatLine publication is about the
highest level of education attained by individuals. This means that the
people have completed this training with a diploma.
The term “education” refers to the level of education that
people have followed. This does not mean that people of
have completed this course with a diploma.

There is a new and more extensive layout of the different
educational courses made. The old table 'Professional;
education level/direction' has therefore been replaced by this new
table showing the new classification of educational courses. The old
the table can be consulted through the archive.
