Description
The data in this table are based on the Labour Force Survey (EIA). The EBB is a study carried out by CBS to collect information about
the relationship between people and the labour market. This relates characteristics of individuals to their current or future position on the labour market.
This table contains information on professions. The data on professions are based on CBS’s 1992 Standard Occupational Classification (SBC'92). The professions are represented in three levels of aggregation: professional level, professional class and profession. The level of employment is broken down into professional classes and the professional classes are even further broken down by professions.
Due to a new EBB weighing method, all EBB tables have been discontinued and moved to the archive. Instead, new tables are created. In these new tables, the figures have been corrected by a new weighing method until 2001. From 2001 onwards, it is also possible to publish quarterly figures for a limited set of variables. The years for 2001 have not been corrected and relate to the figures previously published. A detailed description of the new weighing method
