Occupation of the Sol at Grande Écale Martinique 2017
Description
The SCO GE is based on structuring data describing the main road and rail transport networks constituting the “National Ossature”.
“National Ossature” is calculated from the internal IGN database from which the TOPO® BD is derived. It is produced and maintained in time by the IGN. It is calculated prior to production and in some cases validated by user representatives (in accordance with the specifications). It produces objects of land cover relatively stable over time which, in future updates, may, for some, serve as a landmark when moving from one vintage to another.
