JHS 182 Development of ICT services: Quality assurance
Description
The recommendation provides guidance to organisations on quality assurance of ICT services throughout their life cycle. The Recommendation builds on the good practices of public and private sector information administrations, which have been collected during the preparation of the Recommendation. The source material is the ITIL model, the guidelines of VAHTI, the guidelines of the Finnish Tax Administration, the National Land Survey of Finland, MMMTike and the State Treasury, as well as guidelines and methods commonly used by the private sector. The recommendation is part of the ICT services development recommendation series. The recommendation focuses on the quality of ICT services (software and service produced with it) by recommending what to do to ensure quality. The recommendation does not detail quality assurance methods and the recommendation does not address the quality of procurement, product development, service, maintenance or other processes and the quality of the process, although these have a clear impact on the quality of ICT services.
