Digital elevation model 50 meters (DHM50)
Description
Digital elevation model (DHM) from Baden-Württemberg, complemented by parts of the adjacent federal states of Hesse, Bavaria and Switzerland. The resolution is 50 m, i.e. one pixel corresponds to an area of 50 x 50 m in nature. The DHM is represented by 3-dimensional coordinates (location in the Gauss-Krüger coordination system, height above normal zero) from the grid points whose regular distance is 50 m. The DHM is derived from orthophoto production and reproduces the surface of the vegetation (e.g. treetops).
