Employed labour force: ageing SBI 2008; 2001-2014
Description
This table shows annual figures on the average age and generation index of the active labour force by gender, age, migrant background position in employment, industries/sectors SBI 2008 and educational level.
The figures in this table deviate from the figures in the table of sectors/sectors SBI'93 (see also 3. Links to relevant tables and articles). A major revision of the international classifications ISIC and NACE took place in 2008 (see paragraph 2). These international revisions have been incorporated into the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008). This makes these classifications more consistent with today’s business activities.
The above implies that the composition of an industry or industry may have changed: for example, new branches may have been added and branches may have disappeared or categorised into another industry or industry.
