Swivel table

Description

The turntable is a bridge, usually rotating 360°, placed on a central axis and circular rail, on which the locomotive can be driven and then turned in the desired direction. The load-bearing capacity, manual operation, date of entry into service, length and position on the network shall be indicated for the turntables. The data cover railways owned by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. The data source system is the Track Object Management Application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Information Management System.
