Description

This table shows annual figures on labour market mobility of 15 to 65 years old in the Netherlands. The change in labour market position between the first moment of surveying (starting period) and the labour market position one year later (end of period). In this way, this table describes the extent to which people have changed labour market positions after one year. Three labour market positions are distinguished; active labour force, unemployed labour force and non-working population. For compiling figures on labour market mobility, a different weighting method of the EEW applies than for other EEW tables. As a result, the figures in this table may differ from other EBB tables. Data available from: 2003 to 2012 Status of the figures Figures based on the EBB are always final. The figures on type of training, cost training and reason training from 2003 to 2010 are final. The figures on type of training, cost training and reason training for 2011 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be finalised. This table is followed by Labour participation; changes in employment position per quarter and year. See paragraph 3. New revised tables on the labour force were published on 26 February 2015. This revision of the statistics of the labour force has two components. The definitions have been adapted to the internationally agreed definitions and data collection has been improved by being the first statistical office in Europe to survey via the Internet.
