The approximately 570 km long route ran through the following stages (and lunch stations):
Erding — (Markt Indersdorf) — Schrobenhausen — (Münchsmünster) — Kelheim — (Plankstetten) — Roth — (Cadolzburg) — Erlangen — (Behringersmühle) — Pegnitz — (Erbendorf) — Tirschenreuth — (Marktleuthen) — Hof. Note: The signets shown on the routes mark the water and lunch breaks of the then tour.
