This table provides details of the vacancy rate in detail to:
— economic activity according to the Standard Business Classification (SBI) 1993;
— quarterly.
Data available from: 1997 1st quarter
Frequency: Discontinued as of 14 August 2008.
Reason to stop:
The figures for the whole series have been revised. The reason
as of 2006, CBS for the
determination of the number of workers’ jobs
uses a new data source: the so-called
Policy administration. The Polisadministration is managed
by the UWV and is filled with employee data from the
wage declarations made by employers to the tax authorities
submit. The Police Administration includes all employees
employed by companies and institutions operating in the Netherlands
are liable to payroll tax and contributions.
As a result of the introduction of the police administration,
the Employment and Loans Survey (EWL) in the course of
2006 abolished. This was the previous source for the
calculation of vacancy rates.
By switching to the police administration, the
in most cases, vacancy rates are slightly lower.
For the total, it is one to three degrees.
At the level of industry, the differences may be greater
that’s it.
