Description

This table provides data on sick leave of workers aged 15 to 75, by working conditions. This also includes employees who are employed but do not perform work due to illness, maternity leave or other temporary career breaks. Furthermore, the table also includes data on the last absenteeism of employees. This default case may have been more than 12 months ago. Data available from: 2014. Status of figures: Figures in this table are final. Changes as of 21 May 2024: The annual figures for 2023 have been added. Changes as of 22 August 2023: The topics about unwanted behavior (unwanted sexual attention, harassment, physical violence and bullying) are divided into subgroups. One subgroup has been created for the topics valid until 2022 and one subgroup for the topics valid from 2022. As of the reporting year 2022, the way in which data for the NEA were collected and processed differs in some respects from previous reporting years. As a result, the figures from 2022 may not be comparable in all cases with the figures up to 2021. More information is available in the NEA 2022 study description. See paragraph 4. In 2022, the question of working with hazardous substances was changed. As a result of these changes, the figures on this subject from 2022 onwards are not comparable with the figures from previous years (2014-2021).
