Employees; labour characteristics
Description
This table provides figures on the average number of years employees have been employed in the care and welfare sector, the average number of years employees have been employed by their employer and the main reasons for joining the current employer. The data can be broken down by position in the employment, working hours and (sub)sector, classified according to the Standard Business Classification 2008 (SBI 2008) of Statistics Netherlands.
The question ‘What were the main reasons for joining your current employer?’ was asked to all respondents in the past. From the fourth quarter of 2023 onwards, the question will only be asked if the current employer has not worked for more than two years. The figures are therefore not comparable and will no longer be published as of Q4 2023.

When will there be new figures?
The results of the fourth quarter of 2024 will be available in the second quarter of 2025.
