Export indicator; quarter, Sectors (SBI 2008) 2012-2023
Description
The export indicator is a mood indicator of the industry (SBI C), wholesaler (SBI 46) and the services sector (SBI 49-96) within Dutch business, indicating the direction in which exports of goods and services are expected to develop.
When assessing the results, it can be assumed that the more optimistic or pessimistic the entrepreneurs are, the greater the expectation that export developments will increase or decrease in the coming months.
The industry mainly exports goods from its own production, the wholesaler is more involved in re-exporting imported products, while the services sector focuses on the export of services.
Data available from 2012 1st quarter to 2023 4th quarter.
