Air quality station A2 Hard (half-hourly measurement data since January 2020)

Description

Real-time data from the A2 Hard air measuring station. The measured values are displayed half-hourly and updated hourly (each 20 minutes after the full hour with a possible latency of 1 to 4 hours). The reported values are obtained unadjusted from the measuring station. Validated measured values are to be obtained directly from the Air Hygiene Office of both Basel.Due to metrological inaccuracies, negative values can also occur at low concentrations of a pollutant (zero-point noise). The handling of negative measured values is described in the currently valid Imission Measurement Recommendation 2021. A dataset of the measured values between 2003 and 2019 can be obtained with this link. In addition, this section is heavily frequented by heavy traffic. The station A2 Hard thus reflects the load that occurs directly on heavily trafficked high-performance roads.
