Parking areas for heavy vehicles in Vantaa
Description
The dataset includes parking areas for heavy vehicles in Vantaa. In total, there are about 300 parking spaces for heavy vehicles. As a rule, heavy-duty car parks are located in public car parks or street areas.
In addition to parking areas, the material presents the streetsides where parking heavy vehicles is separately allowed or prohibited. On those streets where only heavy vehicles are specifically prohibited from parking, other vehicles can usually be parked. Some streetsides, on the other hand, are dedicated to heavy vehicles and parking of cars and vans in these areas is prohibited with an additional sign.
Parking in areas intended for heavy traffic is usually allowed for lorries, buses or, in addition to the above, for passenger cars. On a case-by-case basis, there are also parking spaces for vans, heavy-duty trailers and recreational vehicles. In a few cases, there are no restrictions on vehicle types.
