Sports clubs; staff, operation, membership, use of accommodations
Description
This table contains information on sports clubs registered with the Chamber of Commerce (excluding water sports and professional sports clubs). Of the clubs, information on their members, accommodation, the use of volunteers and non-employees and the composition of income and expenses are presented in this table. The data can be broken down by the different branches of sport: strength and martial arts, individual indoor sports, team hall sports, swimming and diving, other indoor sports, athletics, golf, fishing, equestrian, tennis, field sports (excluding football), field football, cycling and other outdoor sports.

The study has a three-year research cycle. This deviated once in 2020 due to the special situation in that year related to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Status of the figures:
The figures for 2020 are provisional. The other figures in this table are final.
Amendments as of February 2022:
Data for 2020 have been added.
The publication strategy has been adapted. When updating the table, the new year is always published as provisional.

The results of the 2021 reporting year will become available in 2023.
