Geographical names 1:250 000

Description

The geographical names include the names of the following object areas: settlement, traffic, vegetation, waters, relief, areas with attributes to: -Administrative breakdown (statistical key figure) -River system (water code according to LAWA) -Number of inhabitants -area code -Size (area, length) -Height (height in meters above NN) -location (geometric data from the Digital Landscape Model on a scale of 1:250,000) -Status of the geographical name -Language of the geographical name The data set GN250 is based on a scale of 1:250,000 and contains about 160,000 entries. The position of the objects is described as point geometry via a single coordinate and via smallest circumscribed rectangles (bounding boxes).
