Effects of landscape structure on the prey composition of the Long-eared Owl (Asio otus)
Description
Prey species composition of the forest ear owl in winter season 2014/2015 at 17 different hibernation sites in areas of Austria was investigated.
In total, 2763 boulders were collected and 14 rodent species, 2 pointed mouse species and 8 songbird species were detected.
