JHS 162 Modelling of location data for data transfer
Description
This Recommendation concerns modelling of transferable spatial data. The recommendation must be followed with regard to the data to be included in the sharing of spatial data. The recommendation does not concern the internal data models of the data producer organisation; they may be in a form appropriate for the organisation’s own operations. However, it shall be possible to convert the data to the data model developed in accordance with this Recommendation for the purposes of data transfer. The recommendation does not cover the modelling of phenomena whose location data can be presented most naturally in the form of rasters. (18.8.2011)
