Annual change in consumer price index; from 1963 onwards
Description
This table shows the annual changes in the consumer price index (CPI) from the moment they are first published. The figures show how prices of goods and services for consumers have developed in a year. The table also shows the annual percentage changes according to the derived consumer price index. It eliminated the impact of changes in the rates of taxes on products and subsidies and of taxes on consumption.
Figures of the CPI are published every month. In addition, an annual figure will be published at the end of the year. The CPI of a calendar year is calculated as the average of the 12-month indices of that year.

Status of figures:
The first time a figure for a reporting month is published, the figure is provisional. With the second publication about the same month, this is final. Differences between the provisional and the final figure are due to fulfilled source material.
Changes compared to the previous version:
Data for a new period has been added and/or adjustments have been made.
When will there be new figures?
The new figures are usually published between the first and second Thursday of the month following the month under review. The figures for the previous reporting month will then become final.
