Social security funds; income and expenses per month on a cash basis
Description
This table contains monthly cash data on the income, expenditure and balance of the Social Security Funds (SZF). The data comes directly from the accounts of the relevant public authorities. This table presents the amounts on a cash basis. This means that the time of payment is the criterion for the booking. The data presented are not consistent with the national accounts publications.
This table gives substance to EU Directive 2011/85. This directive is part of six European legislative measures known as the ‘Sixpack’.

Status of figures:
The figures for April and May 2024 are provisional. The figures for 2023, January, February and March 2024 have further provisional status and the figures for 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 have final status.
Changes as of 28 June 2024:
Figures for May 2024 are available.
The status of the figures for October, November, December 2023, January, February and March 2024 has changed to more provisional.
When will there be new figures?
The new monthly figures are published one month after the end of a reporting month. When a new month is published, the provisional figures of the previous month can be adjusted. The figures for three consecutive months within a quarter shall be adjusted at the end of the following quarter. Six months after the end of the year, the figures become final.
