Description

A reclamation is a dry-ground former puddle or lake. The polders in the polders have a straight-lined parcelling and are usually a few meters lower than the surrounding area. The dataset 'Drying plants' contains a nationwide mapping of draining plants as defined as type in the NAi Polder Atlas. These reclamations are divided by period of origin and have data fields for current polder level and year of reclamation. This dataset includes the dataset Mills and Mills, which shows the grinding device(s) for the drying process at the drying plant in question.
