Munich traffic counting stations - dynamic quarter-hour values

Description

The data set contains all traffic counting points for vehicles in Munich. At these permanent counting points, vehicle traffic is automatically recorded by means of induction loops 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. A measuring point consists of several measuring cross-sections (specific direction of travel), which in turn consist of detectors. Classification of census points: • Light signalling systems: Measuring points on light signal systems (detector_ID starting with 1XXX). • Free measuring points: independent measuring points (detector_ID starting with 4XXX). Vehicle categories: The detector data distinguishes nine vehicle classes to allow a detailed analysis of the traffic flow (8+1): o KRAD: motorcycle o Cars: auto o PKWA: Car with trailer o LFW: vans o BUS: bus o Trucks: lorries o Trucks: Trucks with trailers o SATTEL_KFZ: Semi-trailer vehicle o NK_KFZ: All unclassified vehicles Further explanation: QKFZ: Total vehicles of all nine vehicle categories Qx: preceded by Q = aggregated count/number Vx: preceded by V = aggregated speed value Sx: Standard deviation The current dataset is published aggregated once every quarter of an hour via Mobilithek.
