Basin administrative districts 2019
Description
France has 12 basin districts or basin committees (7 in metropolitan France and 5 in overseas areas).
The administrative territory of each basin is based on the municipal division, by ministerial decree.
The reference system for the administrative districts of the basin comes from the aggregation (carried out by Sandre) of the geometries of municipalities belonging to the same district. The geometries of municipalities come from the database ADMIN EXPRESS COG 2019 edition of the IGN.
