Ambient vision - Refuge areas
Description
Refuge areas are the areas where the groundwater reaches the pumping stations of the water company within a maximum of 1000 years. The province has not drawn up a special policy for these areas. The province and its partners aim to protect groundwater as a source of drinking water supply. The update plan was adopted by the Provincial Council on 19 December 2018.
