Depth of the base Oligocene in the duck beak
Description
The base Oligocene with the base Rupelium, can be mapped in the duck beak. The area runs at a depth interval between 800-2 400 m. The maximum depth is reached at about 2 400 m at the border with the Danish sector, while the surface along the salt structure Bruni is flattened with a depth of about 800 m. Above five salt structures, there are probably no sediments of the Oligocene.
