Description
This work instruction (2nd edition) replaces the 1st edition of September 2017 and describes the execution of the outgassing tests for substitute raw materials for use in plants for cement production. The content of volatile organic compounds released during heating of a solid sample is determined by means of an outgassing test. The processes during the preheating of the raw flour in the cement plant are simulated in the laboratory. The results provide indications of the appropriate feed location of the substitute raw material and the specific emission in the exhaust gas. The results of the laboratory comparative test carried out in 2018 can be found in the appendix.
