MBO; students, course of study, migration background 2015/“16-2021/”22
Description
This table describes students at secondary vocational education (mbo) and contains specific data on the level, learning path, course of study and migration background.
Data available: from the academic year 2015/'16.
Status of the figures:
The figures for the academic years from 2015/'16 to 2020/'21 are final and those for the academic year 2021/'22 are provisional.
Amendments as of 1 December 2022:
None, this table has been discontinued. As a result, the provisional figures for academic year 2021/'22 will no longer be made definitive.
MBO participants are now called MBO students. This has been adjusted in the table. In 2018, it was decided to call MBO participants MBO students from now on. This was introduced during the academic year 2020/'21 and incorporated into the Educational Education Act. Other bodies presenting figures about the MBO have already switched to MBO students last year.
As from the academic year 2020/'21, the classification of MBO courses by sectors (part of the course of study) has partly changed, but this change has not yet been implemented in the final figures of 2020/'21 and the provisional figures of 2021/'22.
