This table contains information on the length of waterways.
This distinguishes between the characteristics of manager, navigability, economic importance, recreational tour class and waterway character.
Data available from: 2005.
Status of the figures: Final.
Amendment as of December 2023: Since 2019, the Rijkswaterstaat has the characteristics: administrator, navigability, economic importance, recreational tour class and waterway character no longer updated. These characteristics are therefore no longer accounted for in this waterway length table. The length of the waterways from 2019 is subdivided according to the characteristic of the waterway type and is available in the new table Length of waterways; waterway compartment type, region.
