Monthly death rates by gender and age group

Description

Raw and standardised death rates of the Canton of Basel-Stadt by gender and age groups since 2012. Death rates are updated monthly. Due to delayed event notifications, the values of previous months (number of deaths, death rate/rate) may change slightly after an update. The standardised death rate refers to the middle population of the month of January 2012 of the canton of Basel-Stadt. By standardisation, in the age group “All” you get an age-standardised death rate for the respective gender.
